I get stuff in the mail at work all the time, but I almost never get anything in such a big box!!! How exciting! I can't wait to see what's inside...

Here we go...............

Whatever's under this brown paper must be really exciting, fragile, and BIG to warrant such an enormous cardboard box!!!

It's an Another Earth promotional flippy-cube. (Note: The photo below is larger than actual-size.)

Um...you guys know there isn't really another earth, right? It's just a movie. We don't actually get to switch to that one once we use up all the resources on this earth mailing promotional garbage around in comically giant boxes filled with bubble wrap.

(In a related story, I cannot stop playing with this fucking flippy-cube.)

ITT: Marketing works. Not only did you add extra psychological value to this item by making such a big deal of it but you posted to your blog for the whole word to see the advertisement. You are the ideal consumer, good job!

A couple of weeks ago, I got a microSD memory card (about the size of a fingernail) wrapped in a box as big as a toaster.
