Newt Gingrich’s campaign is over $1 million in debt, according to the campaign’s financial disclosure obtained by the Associated Press. The campaign is required to file their second quarter fundraising report by the end of today.

Gingrich’s campaign raised $2.1 million dollars since he entered the race in May. But he spent $1.8 million and accrued $1.03 million in debt, which includes more than $100,000 in legal fees.

Do you really want this guy in charge of the economy?
