Republican gubernatorial frontrunner Rob McKenna mailed out a fundraising letter (PDF) last week, announcing his campaign and reminding his fellow party members of where he stands on the most important issue of the day:

... and, on the national front, I'm defending your freedom against the Obamacare mandate forcing you to buy government-approved health insurance.

That's right all you soft Dems and swing-vote independents who have cast your ballots in the past, believing him to be a different kind of Republican... McKenna doesn't just oppose health care reform, he's making his opposition a central theme of his campaign. He wants your health security to be firmly held in the grasp of private insurance companies, because apparently, they are his real constituents, not you.
