She got on a flight to Washington, D.C.—which, as foreshadowing, seems about right.

So she got on a flight to DC. So what? I'll be getting on a flight to DC in a week too. Lots of people do it.

Not that I put much faith in what she says, you could have actually read the article:

"Her trip to D.C. this week is to discuss Medicaid, the federal-state health-care program for the poor, not shop for a job in the Obama administration, she said."

@4, while that's true enough, and she does a lot of that sort of work (tying together the state health care system and Medicaid in an innovative way) that doesn't merit Slog's attention, still...

Publicola notes Ron Sims today announced he's retiring as Assistant Secretary of HUD. So it's understandable we might get out our crayons and play a little connect the dots?
