Writing in Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller, an online publication that offers an invaluable peek into the wacky world of Republican wishful thinking, Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) accuses President Barack Obama of being anti-Israel... you know for saying out loud what US presidents have always quietly presumed: That the 1967 borders with land swaps should be the starting point for negotiations on an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement.

But you know who else is anti-Israel according to Walsh? The Jews:

So, where is the outrage from the American Jewish community? Don’t they understand that the president is not pro-Israel? Aren’t they troubled by his history of pro-Palestinian writings, speeches, and actions? The short answer is that most American Jews are liberal, and most American liberals side with the Palestinians and vague notions of “peace” instead of with Israel’s wellbeing and security. Like the president, the U.N., and most of Europe, too many American Jews aren’t as pro-Israel as they should be and too many share his belief that the Palestinians are victims of Israeli occupation. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Um... I don't go about chiding the Roman Catholic Walsh that his presumed opposition to raping children makes him not as pro-Vatican as he should be, so rather than lecturing Jews like me about our stance on Israel, perhaps Walsh should just shut the fuck up?
