What Do Tea Partiers Hate More?

Posted by on Mon, May 9, 2011 at 1:50 PM

Debt or homos? Silly question.

The Tea Party: same old scared, hateful bigots, brand new bag.

I read that too fast, and saw "Debs or homos," and thought, "Why would they hate debutantes?"

Re: The real story:
"Why would House Republicans who know better be fostering inappropriate attractions in the intimacy of tents, bunks, barracks, platoons, subs, tanks, convoys, cockpits, latrines, showers, toilets and locker rooms when we are fighting wars in three Muslim nations?"

Is it just me, or does it seem like this guy has spent an awful lot of time imagining the places these same-sex assignations could take place?

The Tea Party is just what happens when the worst, most reactionary parts of the population suddenly discover complex synecdoche. It's perfectly safe to say "I hate taxes!" and once they realized that "taxes" could stand in for "liberals" and "liberals" could stand in for "gays, blacks, immigrants, intellectuals, and Jews," they were all over that.

How could tea partiers hate homos since so many tea partiers are homos, like myself?

Geez Dan, please think before you type!

@3, yes and I'm sure all your tea party friends love you and your "alternative lifestyle choice." Also, how many are "so many?" 15? 50?

All it will take is for senate Dems to say no and Teabaggers will collapse like a house of greasy cards.

Closeted or not, the homos are still there, plotting to gay rape you and convert your children to the homoghey lifestyle.

I'd rather have homersexuals out and obvious so I know when to constrict my sphincter, the only known way to prevent the surprise buttseks and subsequent infection of ghey cooties. As all tea partiers know, it's impossible to avoid same-sex genital contact once you've caught teh ghey.

If I judged Democrats by their leaders, I would think that they were war mongering, drug warrior, anti-civil rights extremists. So that would be wrong of me.

There is no Tea Party "movement" of any size. It is pure astroturf. The Koch Brothers, through their think-tank proxies, are perfectly happy to tell those chumps whatever it is they want to hear, provided that come election time they cast their votes for whoever is going to lower the Koch Brothers' taxes and provide a favorable regulatory environment for their businesses.

The opinion of some idiot in a tri-corn hat makes no difference whatsoever to anybody who matters. He may be dumb enough to believe he speaks for a "movement," but almost nobody believes that.

If you spend an awful lot of time thinking about pink elephants, chances are you're either a drunk or a game designer.

@12 @13,

You are entitled to whatever political beliefs you want to have. However, the fact that you are gay and a tea partier doesn't mean the tea party doesn't hate gays, which is what you asserted in @3. You called Dan thoughtless for calling the tea party gay-hating. Then in @12, you admitted that the GOP is gay-hating. Now, I know that the GOP≠Tea Party, but which one is it?

I thought the tea baggers were only about big Government and Taxes. You mean they lied and truly stand for every regressive policy possible to destroy our nation, freedoms, liberties and equality? I never would have guessed.

They're CONServatives and a leopard never changes its spots.

If you want bigotry, go to an all black area of LA, Chicago, DC or Houston and ask the ghetto dwellers what they think about fags, the gooks who run the local liquor store, the beaners who live 2 blocks down or the crackers who write their welfare checks and you'll find bigotry.

No need to debunk, your sorry pathetic postings speak well enough in themselves.
Not only are you a piece of shit, you are one that should have been flushed from slog long ago. But whatev's, the fact that you still exist, as odious as you are, speaks volumes to the overall tolerance of slog, still you may not hate yourself, but by any level of decency--- you should.

As you have no redeeming value at all.

Basehead, if your point is that bigotry occurs all over the place, and that any person can be bigoted, you'll get no argument from me.

It does raise the question, though: What is your larger point?

@23: As a white-looking dude living in a poor, ~95% black neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, I can tell you that you're as full of shit as a constipated bovine. I tutor local kids, the vast majority of whom are black, and there is about zilch by way of racial tensions. The black kids, the Latino kids, and the white kids all get along just fine.
The really funny thing, though, is that you're making vitriolic and hateful assertions with absolutely no supporting evidence, and yet you claim that the burden of proof is on us. Clearly, you must be either a card-carrying member or certainly loyal to the Communist Party, what with all that "faulty leftist logic".
Trolling is a art, and one that requires a great deal of subtlety. You give trolling a bad name with your pathetically overt attempts.

"For Tea Party Founding Fathers chairman William Temple, a reinstatement of Don't Ask, Don't Tell and keeping women out of combat roles would also be acceptable."

Yet further proof of Dan's assertion that homophobia is the angry, closeted little brother of misogyny....

Also, well said clashfan. @Basefan, you haven't "so easily baffled faulty left logic," you've simply made a point that is completely irrelevant to the discussion taking place here.

28, What part of Chicago is that? Something tells me you probably live in Hyde Park, if you live on the south side at all. And I’m not so sure it’s such a hot idea for you to be around kids.

30, You’re the one who dropped the n-bomb, not me. Seems like you might be deflecting, homey. Where’s proof that the Tea Party is racist? I saw plenty of sickle and hammer signs at the barely attended no ratings and race hustling rally that was held after the hugely successful Glen Beck and Jon Stewart rallies. Communism killed 150 million people in the 20th century; name me anything in history more destructive than that? You cant! You mad now?

32, Thank you for admitting I’m not wrong! Which is just a passive aggressive way of saying I’m right and it hurts your butt. “I’m an asshole and I’m proud of it” – Dennis Leary.

33, Lived in many areas that have largely been inhabited by, as 30 would say, n------. Rogers Park, Uptown plus all the messicans I lived by in Logan Square. I lived in neighborhoods of Chicago that had more blacks and beans than all of Seattle. You think 3rd and Pine is tough, I buy crack rocks from there.

And once again, none of you have debunked what I’ve said. Calling someone a fascist or racist doesn’t discredit what they’ve said.

@36: I said that I live in a ~95% black neighborhood. That's not Hyde Park; that's Woodlawn. Yes, I am south of the Midway, and I routinely stroll on down to 63rd and Cottage Grove in order to catch the Green Line. Glad to hear you think I'm some sort of child predator, though. If that's the best you can come up with, you don't really have anything to say.
With regards to your responses to other commenters:
Sure, James Hutchings dropped the n-bomb before you did. However, you're the one using terms like "gook" and "beaner". Do you even think about the shit coming out of your mouth? Not to mention, I don't seem to be able to find any Communism-promoting signs at the RtRS. Care to provide photographic evidence?
It's possible to be technically correct and still be wrong as your statement pertains to the conversation. Observe this. While the mouse is technically correct that there is a talking duck, his statement has no bearing whatsoever on the issue at hand.
Finally, minorities probably wouldn't scare you so much if you got to know them. Feel free to keep making yourself paranoid, though, so as not to subject brown people to your ignorant, incorrect, and offensive ravings.

Teabaggers go to church, pray and hate Muslims and gays. But they DO love teabagging little boys - but in private of course. And who says Sarah Palin doesn't read Playgirl? And I bet Todd enjoys the magazine too. You can improve your American English by reading Playgirl. Aleluyah!
