Lunchtime Quickie: God's Nu Thang

Posted by on Thu, May 5, 2011 at 12:11 PM

Do you know about the Nu Thang that He's doing? And/or Eli Sanders, maybe this will convince you to read that book?

h/t Scary Tyler Moore!

The great thing about reddit.com, is that you get to see videos like this, days/weeks before theyre posted on SLOG.

Hay! I submitted this last week, and Grant posted it on Line Out. And no, I didn't see it on Reddit first (I saw it on Regretsy, which was on it before Reddit).

Reddit can lick my balls. There are people on Reddit right now voting down a story about D. Parvaz being held in Syria. If there's anything worse than a virtual roomful of 12-year-old libertarians, I don't want to know what it is.

That was horrifying.

Not his singing. The clown that introduced him.

His singing/dancing/tourettes was merely pitiful.

I also don't give a shit about "me first".

Couldn't watch beyond a minute. I don't care what the message is, this video will haunt that kid forever. It will be played at his bachelor's party while the stripper is spinning on that pole....

I've been watching old video segments of Kathryn Kuhlman. Witness the flamboyance, delivery and gravitas of a riveting televangelist. Today's posturing pastors and fundie hucksters have nothing compared to Kuhlman.

kathryn kuhlman was the only worthy successor to Aimee Semple McPherson. she had presence, which is more than you can say for Joyce Meyer. gay men loved her.

Kelly O, what's with all this "praise the lord" shit for your Lunch Time Quickies? Please tell me you're not going to the "other side". See you in hell.

Aw, I remember that song from being a late 80s/early 90s christian kid. I did not have those pants though, nor those sweet moves.
