Barbour Out

Posted by on Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 12:40 PM

Mississippi governor Haley Barbour has announced that he is not going to run for president.

This is kind of a shame; I was looking forward to all the racists choosing sides between Barbour and Trump. I reckon Stormfront would have been divided straight down the middle.

No contest. Trump has no racist bona fides; he'll say anything. And he's from New York. Barbour is the real deal, and a Mississippi boy. Sadly, the Stormfront demographic is not enough to win.

I think this is why he bowed out

"though he is, by many measures, a successful politician, he’s governor of a tiny state (population: 2.9 million) that ranks last in such indices as median household income, academic achievement, and health care; and first in obesity, infant mortality, teen birthrate, and sexually transmitted diseases; and boasts a troubled and violent racial history that still shapes its identity."

Mississippi is a shithole, what's he going to take credit for accomplishing?

(http://www.newsweek.com/2011/04/24/lloyd…) <- though I read it from Sully.

At least he isn't holding a press conference like Ron Paul is, where Ron admits he's actually a Mexican.
