Hey people. There's no Chuckletown in the paper this week due to space. Also because I didn't write one. But there are some mega-important and wonderful comedy shows coming up in the next couple days that should not be missed. Please to enjoy:

1. Bridgetown Comedy Festival, all weekend long, Portland: If you have a car and some free time and you don't want to miss the best weekend of your life, you will get yourself down to Portland right this second for the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Every famous comedian you've ever loved is there, RIGHT NOW, performing in tiny rooms full of alcohol and other famous funny comedians. And YOU. Here's a complete rundown from the Portland Mercury. YOU WANT TO GO THERE. TRUST ME. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

2. Ahamefule J. Oluo and Mike Show, Sunday, April 24, 8 pm, Lucid Jazz Lounge: Unfortunately, Mike Drucker can't be there this month (see below), so a VERY SPECIAL SECRET OUT-OF-TOWN GUEST (see above) will be filling in as co-host. I can't tell you who it is ("contracts" are involved, or something), but this is really really really really really really really worth going to. Also, it is fucking free. (Also, in addition to the real comedians, I, Lindy West, will be "doing" "comedy." So there's that.)

3. Mike Drucker and Mike Lawrence, Monday, April 25, 8:30 pm, Laughs Kirkland: Mike Drucker (Saturday Night Live, the Onion, McSweeney's) is an absolutely great comic. If you haven't seen him yet, you are fucking up. Here's what Mike Drucker has to say about Mike Lawrence: "Mike Lawrence is a REALLY good comedian. I love him and he was actually in my D&D group in NY. That means a lot."

If you only go to three comedy events in the next three days, MAKE IT THESE ONES.
