More lesbian than a softball team at a Storm game?

Last week, we tried to answer the urgent political question:

What is State Rep. Laurie Jinkins (D-Tacoma) more lesbian than?

The huge volume of of dazzling answers demands a Slog poll.

But first, some expert advice. Jinkins herself told me, via e-mail, that she prefers "More lesbian than a softball team at a Storm game." Commenter TVDinner wrote to claim that she won the thread with "More lesbian than a U-Haul full of rescued dogs." ("What's my prize?" TVDinner asks.) Others noted the power of "More lesbian than Tabbouleh salad at a potluck at Mills College," "More lesbian than a flannel Forester," and "More lesbian than State Rep. Eileen Cody."

And so!

Who really wins the thread? (Remember, I promised that the winning answer would become Rep. Jinkins' descriptor the next time I refer to her in print—and, who knows, maybe forevermore.)

@1 Cripes. What is it about slog that makes everyone assume "male" unless you have a chick name?

(I would have said "More lesbian than the lentil wrap stand at a kd lang concert.")

Are we REALLY using this opportunity to make a lesbian joke about a straight person who isn't "feminine" enough? God knows I like a good lezbo joke as much as the next person, but come on now.

She's totally a closeted lesbian. So says my very trusted tipster who adds this about Montana state GOP Rep. Kristin Hansen: "She lives with a woman who she introduces to others as her 'friend' but has confirmed to a handful of people is her partner. The partner's ex has also been telling people what's up." Hansen was first elected to office last year with the backing of the Tea Party.

Last month Hansen failed in her attempt to issue a statewide repeal of all local LGBT rights in Montana, a law that would have only affected the small town of Missoula, the one place in the state with LGBT anti-discrimination protections. According to my source, Hansen will be outed at an upcoming meeting of University of Montana students."

In my defense, I actully preferred the moniker "softball team - Storm game" the first time around despite the funnier and more clever tags because that one is particularly local.....

I vote for the U-Haul with the dogs. Living near Mills, I would say the one about Mills should be re-cast more like: More lesbian than a tub of Whole Foods tabbouleh at a Mills College potluck. But that's just local knowledge.
