Rob McKenna Addresses His Base

WA Attorney General Rob McKenna addresses his base at todays Tax Day Tea Party rally.

  • WA Attorney General Rob McKenna addresses his base at today's Tax Day Tea Party rally.

Literally dozens of "average taxpayers" showed up at today's Tax Day Tea Party rally in Bellevue to hear Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna speak. Who knew that "the majority of people" amount to fewer than a hundred? Though I guess it's not fair to make fun of the light turnout at today's highly publicized event, considering that unlike most union members, teabaggers have "families to raise, jobs to do and businesses to keep afloat."

That said, you gotta wonder if McKenna might want to rethink his political calculus of running to the hard right when he compares the turnout at today's Tea Party, um, tea party, to the crowds at last week's labor rally?

I wonder though, what the voting participation of the two groups is?

I thought most teabaggers were either unemployed or government workers.

From what I've seen of their "rallies", I'd say most of them are retired...

Funny how being gay = destruction, but the only people trying to destroy anything are the people against it.

They held a similar rally in Olympia today. The line stretched about a block long. It was smaller than my graduating HS class. Their signs were sure big! (Paid for by the Heritage Institute or the Koch bros, no doubt.)

To go by their signs, Democrats are concerned about things that actually affect them, like jobs, and Teabaggers (sorry, Chicago Fan) are concerned about things that don't affect them at all, like the gay "lifestyle."

Ron Paul fucked the Tea Party when he went after Medicare.
