1. Four excellent Copper Canyon Press poets—Chris Abani, Chase Twichell, Lucia Perillo, and Jean Valentine—will read new and recent work at Town Hall as part of a fundraiser for the press, and to celebrate National Poetry Month. Last year at a reading, Sherman Alexie called Copper Canyon the best poetry publisher in America. I am inclined to agree.

2. If you're looking for more pulpy pleasures, Elliott Bay Book Company is hosting Jackson Holtz tonight. Holtz is an Everett Herald crime beat reporter. His new book is titled Fly, Colton, Fly: The True Story of the Barefoot Bandit. Folks sure are fascinated with that Barefoot Bandit fellow.

3. Find information about all tonight's other book-related events, including two appearances by Jacqueline Winspear, the popular creator of the character Maisie Dobbs, in our readings calendar.
