Posted by on Mon, Apr 4, 2011 at 11:53 AM

This is exactly what those "against equality" queers were worried about.

Mandatory? Oh dear.....If I am forced to take in children, they will find out that I am studying to be a witch so that I can defeat any possible German invasions.

Oh wait... that's the plot to "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"

If I am going to be forced to adopt, I want an older one who can do yardwork and mix drinks and watch the dogs when we go to Palm Springs.

Mandatory gay adoption? One can only hope. For now though it's probably a little overambitious.

Dammit. Alright, someone tell me where I'm supposed to pick up my new kid. Kids? What's the obligation, now?

Adoption? Fuck. I was planning on inseminating. Do you know how much effort goes into researching all the genetic histories of your man friends?!

And VAG Ken Cucinelli will doubtless bend over for Gaggie Mallagrinch's strap-on.

Well, if it's mandatory, then I call dibs on Dan Savage. Let him be MY flying monkey for a change.

Gosh, the end of the student loans is finally in sight, I just might have the mortage paid before retirement, my hubbie and I have all kind of trips planned, and I have to give all that up to adopt a baby!

Can't I just continue to keep cats, instead?

@6 I'd copyright that T-Shirt idea tout de suite, Urgutha, if I were you. But I hear he's no good at laundry...

So long as it's only mandatory for teh gheys. I spent good money getting snipped making sure i wouldn't join the ranks of the child-encumbered, and i'll be damned if i get a kid or two foisted on me now.

@12, 13: I always think of the French word (from its use in English as a loan word e.g. nom de plume, though of course we have the exact correlate "name"), including when people go "nom nom nom" to indicate eating; the result is usually hilarious.

That said, just seeing "NOM" as an acronym evokes lolcatz images in my brain, with a cat biting someone.

What do they eat? How many times a day do they need to be walked? Should I de-worm them once a quarter? Will they supply a "How To" book?

favorite comment from the article, mentions that mandatory gay adoption is as mandatory, as mandatory religious adoption (in that neither is allowed to be discriminated against). But you can't get the religious to hate people if you are honest, now can you
