Saw this ad at a light rail stop yesterday...

The HICBAI and I recently visited Georgetown. We were looking for a dresser. And we found one we really liked in one of Georgetown's "vintage decor" shops. It was $3,000. (No, we didn't buy it.) A place's bohemian days are numbered 'round about the time ads like this start going up. And while Georgetown may not be gentrifying in the same way that other neighborhoods have, and while it may never gentrify in the quite the same way thanks to Boeing Field and 1-5 and hookers, your bohemian days aren't numbered when dressers are going for 3K in your resale shops. They're over.
