Remember: April is Script Frenzy, which is like National Novel Writing Month, only you write a 100-page screenplay in a month instead. (You can also write comic scripts or plays, if movies aren't your thing.) It's a lot of fun—way more fun than National Novel Writing Month, which is a painful slog that gradually becomes a highly rewarding painful slog—and I'd recommend the experience to anyone.

If you'd like to be less alone in your screenwriting endeavors, the local chapter of script-in-a-monthers is having a write-in to celebrate the launch of Script Frenzy Thursday night into the wee hours of Friday morning, weirdly, at the Queen Anne Metropolitan Market on Mercer. You can learn more on the Seattle Script Frenzy page.
