Remembering Mark Chamberlin

Posted by on Fri, Mar 25, 2011 at 10:16 AM

Earlier this week, longtime and well-loved local actor Mark Chamberlain was found next to his bicycle and brought to the hospital, where King County Medical examiners say he died of an embolism. Condolences to his friends and family.

People have been asking me this week whether I knew Mark—I did not. So I'll leave his eulogies to those who can do a much better job than I ever could.

"Chamberlin fell from his bike Sunday and was being treated at Harborview Medical Center. He died Tuesday just as he was about to be released from the hospital."

What the fuck?

His wry wit. His giving nature. His immense talent. These will be remembered and missed. Rest in Peace Mark.

I remember him in GHOST STORY. One of the last great scary movies.
