I can't imagine the Seattle comedy scene without Carl Warmenhoven.

A firm traditionalist, an old-school lover of corny play-on-words...Carl is also fully modern, supportive of the local alt-comedy scene and he's been fully behind the efforts of young comics as long as I've been involved in comedy.

The ability to sit through as many Monday night open mics at the Underground as he has...and not ending up hating everything about comedy, but somehow still being able derive strength from a silly dick joke...that's something incredible.

I worked at the Comedy Underground for years, and Carl has more integrity than everyone else in that place combined. I love you Carl.
