1. According to International Data Corporation, tech companies shipped 18 million tablets and 12 million e-readers worldwide last year. Apple dominated 83% of the tablet market and Amazon owned about half of the e-reader side. More alarmist media outlets are wondering if we are on the edge of a tablet bubble. (Which makes sense; remember that huge laptop bubble that demolished the economy back in nineteen-ninety-never?)
