The effervescent and tenacious Shangela will be joining the cast of Le Faux at Julia's on Broadway on April 8 and 9, with tickets available soon but not now at Brown Paper Tickets.

(Speaking of the most recent season of Drag Race: Shangela is the one I like the most as a person, and Raja is the one I like most as a performer.)

NOOOOOO. I was hoping she would be there the same week as the Alzheimers Association conference on april 1st. I caught Shannel from season 1 last year and she was a lot of fun.

Truly, @5, Shangela is the least likeable as far as I'm concerned. I don't like her as a person, as a performer, or as anything but a sanctimonious, martyr-complex-driven trainwreck of a human.

Agreed with 5 and 6. Frankly I thought she was cute and funny in the beginning. But at this point what Raja points out is completely true: if Shangela needs help putting her hair and makeup together without looking like a mess, let alone her costume (hair, makeup, and tucking are Drag-101 level skills) then she's simply not ready or deserving to win this competition.

And her "keep it real" bit is tired and completely farsicle at this point.

But the real question is.....Will Dan show up to call her a bitch to her face, cuz he keeps it real and because Stacy Matthews was robbed? Now that would be worth the price of admission!

Agreed. Shangela is terrible and should have been long ago except Ru has a bad habit of playing favorites.

Oh my Gosh Raja is a vapid, self-pretentious ego maniac! He is winning most of the challenges and the judges love everything about him so why is he so shitty! Damn, can't even be a gracious winner!
