The City: King of the Tyrants

1. As part of "the second annual Burke Museum Dino Day," Philip Currie will be reading up at Kane Hall in the University District tonight. His lecture is titled “Hunting Dinosaurs on Four Continents.” Currie is obviously bad ass. You have to pre-register for this event, which you can do by following this link.

2. At Town Hall, Edward Glaeser will be reading. Triumph of the City: How Our Greatest Invention Makes Us Richer, Smarter, Greener, Healthier, and Happier is an exploration of the city as the best thing that ever happened to humanity. I agree.

3. All sorts of book-related events are going on tonight and this weekend. Read about them in our readings calendar.
