Green Bay had 2 touchdowns last I checked.

You're not watching for the commercials, Dan? I'm not watching it since I don't have a tv, but there's a good live play-by-play of the commercials at http://mashable.com/2011/02/06/super-bow…

Is this the song with the estimable line: "He slipped and tripped in a hip bath"? And if I did somehow attend the Super Bowl, I'd go masked.

May I offer, as a further counter programing:

In honor of homosexuality and [what the rest of the world calls] football, please enjoy this stadium full of drunken Liverpool fans singing their official team anthem, from "Carousel": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Asg-VcfU7…

@8, the modern rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone", with piped-in accompaniment, pales next to the classic singing of the 1960s. Check out this rendition from 1970 (check out the terrifying crowd waves too).

Better yet, this amazing BBC report on the Kop singing "She Loves You" from 1964: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87Ywgj2PW…

@8 that song should not be profaned, though it often is. I still miss Billy Bigelow every once in a while. His absence (not softened a bit in the musical) is felt for days after you've left the theatre. I suspect that for it's target generation his absence was felt for much of a lifetime.

Dan I would have never dreamed you were a Sondheim fan! What a fabulous production! Sondheim's only straight {as in no deep questions, just surface story and singing} musical! Did you see the Boradway Assasins?
