I wrote 958 words about pie in this week's paper. Just hours after it hit the street, I learn about perhaps the most magical pie-related thing in the entire pie-related universe: The Piecycle.

Every Friday and Saturday night, between the hours of 9 pm and 2 am, a young man named Max Kraushaar cruises around the city on his bicycle, taking slices of pie wherever they are needed. You just text him your location and he's on his way. There are always at least two kinds of pie, one of them is vegan, and they're only $3 a slice. If you're really hungry, you can also order a full pie for $20.

WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE PIECYCLE BEFORE??

Oh wait. You did. Well, CakeSpy did, when she interviewed him a few weeks ago. I can only blame myself.

Anyway, after some research, I've been told his pies are very good. I've also been told that sometimes he gets a little experimental with them, therefore they're more interesting than good, but I appreciate a baker with a sense of adventure. His flavor menu has included: Dutch apple, pear, vegan pecan, cherry, s'mores.... I'm drooling.

Follow the Piecycle on Twitter for his latest updates. You can also "like" him on Facebook.
