Just got an e-mail from John Watkins at the U District Twice Sold Tales that reads:

The University District Twice Sold Tales will become an internet-only bookstore at the end of March. The location at 45th and University will sell off the non-internet stock and most of its fixtures over the next two months, then the store will move to Vashon Island, where it will not keep an open shop.

The Capitol Hill Twice Sold Tales at Harvard & Denny will continue as an open shop and will accept book credit from both stores.

The space will become a Chase Bank, because we need another one of those. This announcement comes on the heels of Ophelia's Books owner Lisa Perry announcing her store's for sale and the closing of Abraxus Books.
