There was a fight. It involved two women in New Mexico. One was the mother-in-law (44); the other the daughter-in-law (30). Lots of alcohol was in the former. Lots of angry words were fired from the former's mouth. Then this happened:

The mother-in-law allegedly "grabbed (the victim's) right breast and began to squeeze and pull on her nipple" during the argument and refused to let go until the younger woman punched her in the face.

The victim said she kicked the older woman out of the house and soon discovered fluid in her breast and her nipple fell to the ground when she lifted her shirt.

The shocking story ends with good news: The broken nipple was reattached at Memorial Medical Center. But let's think about this good news for a moment: It certainly would not have happened if these women lived in the practically unscientific the age (no ice, no speed, no surgeons nearby, crude medical tools) of Marie-Guillemine Benoist's beauty...
