Scenes of shocking beauty in that film. Very glad I saw it. An obsessive director hires the world's best cinematophers to film his nervous breakdown. I hope that when the DVD comes out they include a few more hours of the test footage!

Hot girl is not very hot. She looks crazy. Crazy is unsexy. Or maybe she's just trying too hard. The cigarette posing in particular is beyond ridiculous; at one point she looks like she's blowing snot out of her nose.

@7, I'm ultra-straight. This just ain't doing it for me. I think it's the way she tilts her head; too far back, too far forward, she still looks like a crazy person or a hostage who's trying to "look sexy" so her rapist won't waterboard her again.

Smoking in 1964 had all different kinds of connotations than it does today. I thought Romy Schneider was so pretty back then. Very friendly and pretty eyes. She looks a little heavier here in L'Enfer than I remember her. How sad I was about her tragic end too early in her life.

Fnarf: This is fucking Romy Schneider! One of sexiest women to have ever graced this Earth. And this film, which I saw last night, is one of the greatest displays of Ms. Schneider in the height of her prowess. If you're not turned on then I think you must be of a different species.
