And here you can enjoy Barney Frank laying into a completely unbiased reporter from a christian news nitwork* who asks him about showering with homosexuals. (Hey, I was brave enough to shower with a homosexual this morning—surely the big, strong killing machines in the Marines are at least as brave as I am.)

Doesn't anyone see the contradiction in Frank's position? He was asked a reasonable question, should males and females in the Armed Forces shower together as well? He said "no, that would be too disruptive"!
I don't understand how it should be okay for a straight man to have to use a communal shower with a gay man, but having to use it with a female is unacceptable. If this policy is going to be implemented successfully, they will have to find a way to provide privacy in showers for everyone.

@27: If a gay guy and a straight guy have to shower together, they will probably see each other's penises. But being guys, they see a penis (their own) several times a day, and so that's nothing terribly new. The worst that would happen is that maybe the gay guy gets and awkward boner.
