Smart People and Cheap Booze Tomorrow at Havana

Come to Havana tomorrow between 5:30 and 7:30 pm to try all the boozy finalists in the Questionland cocktail contest! It costs five bucks to sample all the drinks, and then you can vote on your favorite, winning one lucky lush fame and fortune. Not only will the creator get $100, but they'll also get their drink on Havana's menu for one month.

Here are just some of the cocktails you'll be able to taste tomorrow night (see all of them here):

The Spirit World (submitted by Jamie Rizzo, pictured right)

2.5 oz. Johnnie Walker Black Label
.75 oz. Dubonnet Rouge
1/2 tsp. rose water
two dashes orange bitters

Stir contents with ice for approximately 15 seconds. Strain into martini glass rinsed with maraschino liqueur. Orange twist garnish.

The Jefferson (submitted by Bo Kinney)

2 oz. rye
1/2 oz. amaretto
1/2 oz. lemon juice
Dash angostura bitters

Shake. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with twist of lemon.

Pinche Huero (submitted by whatwhich)

5 parts Tequila
2 parts Coffee Liquor
3 parts Fresh Cream

Show up at 6 pm in order to try all the drinks, they'll be serving them one at a time as the event progresses. Come get tipsy and mingle with all the Questionland smartypants.
