I know it's a slow news week, but the blogosphere jumping on Sarah Palin saying she'll "stand with our North Korean allies" is just stupid. It was a mistake, and if you look at it in context, it was obviously a slip of the tongue. As Palin (or Palin's Facebook ghostwriter) pointed out, everybody makes mistakes.

And Palin's Facebook Ghostwriter didn't even take advantage of the most egregious Obama error:

...which was kind of a classy move on the Palin camp's part. These politicians (or celebrity politician wannabes, as the case may be) dump thousands of words into the public record every day. There are going to be mistakes. We can revel in any number of Sarah Palin's obvious flaws as a human being; we don't have to start making a big deal out of the minor flubs.
