Sweet Jesus in slingbacks, please make it so: Donald Trump says he's considering running for president in 2012 on a Republican platform. In a recent interview with George Stephanopoulos, Trump said he'll make his final decision by June. And if he runs, Trump says he's willing to spend "a lot" of his own fortune to take on Sarah Palin.

Trump says he'd make a good president because he can bring the U.S. "a level of respect" on a world platform. Then, when Stephanopoulos asks Trump if he's pro choice, he answers: "I don't want to discuss, right now, but you will be shocked when I give you that answer... I'm going to make a decision, and when I make a decision, I'll let you know about that."

Wow. Just wow.

Both The Apprentice and Sarah Palin's Alaska share a teevee producer, which leads me to believe that reality television is becoming the gateway drug to a GOP presidential run.
