Cute. Although this may be the first time I've ever wished someone WOULD use pitch correction/autotune.

@2 As the creator of this piece of ambush edutainment, I do not disagree with your parting snark. However, I do think you might be putting too much faith in the corrective abilities of autotune. The real answer would be replacing the voice altogether. Or at least drowning it in instrumentals.

The snark was not intended in a serious or critical manner. I actually thought the voice (you?) was pretty good as far as emulating the original guy, and then was kind of startled to hear it missing the pitch so much. Then again, it kind of fits somehow to do that and I wondered if it was intentional...

hey g, thanks. Glad you thought it sounded somewhat like the original. The pitch wasn't helped by the fact I employed a pitch shifter to help differentiate the Initiative from the kid and the voice behind the camera. Or by the fact that I left the intended voice melody in as a midi track so that you can clearly hear the difference. But aside from that, my ear is bad. I'm happy to hear that you thought it might have been on purpose though. For video creators such as myself, it's a blessing that current comedic sensibilities have embraced the "intentionally" bad.
