British Rugby Hunk Ben Cohen Joins the "It Gets Better" Project!

Posted by on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 10:23 AM

Anti-gay-suicide sentiments and these thighs? SWOON!

(Also, watching that swanky British accent come out of his meaty thug head kind of reminds me of Nick Park's Creature Comforts.)

Interesting you should mention his accent (it's not exactly swanky, though, as you put it.) Ben Cohen is clinically deaf and has been involved in making sports more accessible to deaf children. His speech must be affected by his deafness.

So, to summarize: 1) helps gay kids, 2) helps deaf kids and, 3) those thighs (plus the rest of him). Sigh.

I'm not usually into bearish rugby guys. But... holy shit. So kind. And woof! Whoever he's married to is a lucky lucky person.

*double swoon*

That is just a cool guy. I wonder if growing up deaf gave him the understanding of isolation and loneliness he talks about. Need more people like that in the world.
