As much as I love an angry letter from labor leaders in October (about as predictable as falling leaves), I think I love this response, from 34th District state house candidate Mike Heavey, a bit more.

It goes on, taking pains to point out that Heavey would never—never!—subject opponent Joe Fitzgibbon to the same scoring of "cheap political points" (and then outlines how Heavey could, given Fitzgibbon's recent statements, score some cheap points by arguing that Fitzgibbon has been pandering to health insurance companies). Worth a read, wonks, for a study in rapid-response politesse.
