Calling all TOPS! I need one more top actor for my HUMP film. We're shooting Oct 2. There are 3 guys in the script. Two have been cast, one top and one super-bottom. I will also take this opportuntiy that I have pondering for ages to ask the question: How and why did "douche" become the highly insulting espression for a scorned person?
"Douche" is the french word for shower, as in a French hotel room has une douche ensuite.
The other definition is what a woman used to do to clean out the, uh, vaginal cavity to cleanse, whatever, feminine smells, or something. Maybe to rinse out the errant sperm that might be lurking.
Disclosure: I did that in the early 70's as a newlywed, but didn't exactly know why.
Anyway, if anyone who uses "douche" as a pejoritave sees this I would be pleased to know the root of it.
