Meanwhile in Burrito Unicorn News

Posted by on Fri, Sep 3, 2010 at 3:23 PM

A 4-and-a-half-year-old burrito unicorn on Capitol Hill has gone missing, according to this sign stapled high on a lamppost:

burritounicorn007.jpg

I called the number to find out more—have they had any luck tracking Pablo down? How many calls have they gotten? Is he vegetarian or meat?—but a recorded voice picked up and told me if I wanted to buy a voicemail service to hang up and dial another number. Then dial tone.

I guess we'll never know.

ain't no knock-off, that's the real deal. he's really worried about pablo. burrito unicorns are notoriously fast so you probably won't catch him, but you can try to lure him into a trap. they LOVE jelly beans.

If you see Pablo offer him some fresh salad and jelly beans. He's probably hungry, poor fella.

Sorry, but Burrito Unicorn isn't coming home. A coyote probably got him, just like my poor kitty Coco. Sads.

I should wash my starhead tee and wear it in silent vigil. Join hands and let us pray.

@8 - Your coco might still be around (people sometimes pick up cute 'strays' and adopt them).

I had a kitten escape once and two years later my brother is introducing me to his new girlfriend. She has a cat. She rescued it from hiding in the bushes outside my old apt.! I only recognized it because he had 6 toes which is not that common!! I couldn't tell if he remembered me or not but I was really happy to see that nothing bad had befallen him.

why does anyone assume it's the work of an already well-known street artist?

I saw a very similar poster 5 or 6yrs ago, that wasn't done by starkid or these other more well-known street artists. still have one that was given to me, will have to dig it up. i love these!
