Death / Film Child Actor Renowned for Cinema's Most Contentiously Hilarious Death Scene Dies

Cammie King Conlon, the former child actress who portrayed the doomed daughter of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind," has died at the age of 76.

RIP, Ms. Conlon, and thank you bringing us this golden moment:

I couldn't find any hilarity, even through the shitty cam-aimed-at-TV-playing-closed-captioned-videotape. Maybe if I'd watched it through cheesecloth.

I, like many overly sentitive and bookish teens, went through a "Gone With The Wind" phase. I never cared much for Bonnie then, and I care even less now.

.....and just why is it that every little girl actress in that era had to have such a mincing, nasaly delivery?
