Paste Eats It

Paste Magazine (whose tagline was "Signs of Life in Music, Film & Culture") folded suddenly a couple days ago.

Yesterday its employees were apparently given two hours to clean out their offices, after which a few of them took to Twitter to share their pain and look for jobs. There but for the grace of our advertisers go we, etc.

Paste says they're going to have a go at a web-only edition. The newsstand is fast becoming a desolate place.

As the title of your post suggests, the title makes one think instantly of second grade and that minty-fresh snack with the sometimes crunchy edges.

This is quite sad. PASTE has such great taste in music.

#3 hits the nail on the head. It died because it had no depth nor focus.

Judging by the cover art, someone seriously needed to tell them that the 90s were over.
