Chow Good Morning and Barf

Here are some photos of big, gross foods.

Number two, which actually looks good—unlike the horrifying trifle (#1) and the massive, lumpy pile of nachos (#7), and #10, and #11, and most of the rest of it—is from our own hometown Lunchbox Laboratory (click through for L.L.'s ca-razy background story). The giant omelette (#4) is likewise from the venerable Beth's Cafe on Aurora.

After looking at those I really want to have a cheeseburger of normal proportions for breakfast. Maybe I should just remember to take my iron pill before bed.

The clown pancakes near the end were too much for me to look at. We're talking puppies in a river revolting. It's all pretty awful though.

Jesus, I hate giant food just for the sake of being giant. A Beth's omelette, for just one examble, is an abomination against eggs. It's like egg leather folded over three times. It has no other characteristics besides gigantism. That's not an omelette, and it's not food.
