The horrible MS Paint bee pun icon thingy on his web site's banner is enough justification for that never, ever happening.

Your politics won't keep you from getting laid. The guy's probably just an all-around ass.

Anybody who won't date someone because of their politics doesn't deserve to be dated.

Sorta some bizarre parallels if you think about it:

@3 That's an awfully silly thing to say. Politics are often intertwined with ones personal values.

Is "homocon" similar to "comicon"?

Could someone in the know please explain to me how on Buddha's green earth a gay man can be a right-wing conservative? I don't get it?

I mean: "I don't get it." Ignore that last question mark.

I applaud this (possibly fictional) young man for bringing back the lost practice of throwing a drink in someone's face. Think back to any old movie in which a woman threw a drink in a man's face and tell me it wasn't awesome. Nowadays you almost never see it. The fact that the target in this case was a well-deserving douchebag is just gravy.

@3 For introductory dating maybe. But for a long term relationship, it can and should be a significant issue. I tell you, if I caught Mrs. Hernandez watching Glenn Beck while writing a donation check to the Family Research Council, we'd have a sizable problem. We can't all be James Carville and Mary Matalin.

@8,

Ralph Nader gets drinks thrown in his face all the time.

@3,

Bull. Shit. I have never and will never date anyone who thinks women should be subservient to men.

@3 Let's keep in mind that we probably all have worse criteria for dating. We may refuse to date people who are too tall or short, who have an irritating voice, or who keep bringing up their SAT score (happened to me once). I like talking to people w/ differing social/political views, but if someone else doesn't, then they're probably better off not dating them.

HAHAHAHA I have been fantasizing about running in to Ken Mehlman in a bar, ever since his big announcement, and throwing a drink in his face. (I am often in New York and usually stay in Chelsea so it could happen)

Hopefully something that would stain.

@15 Well, if you're throwing said drink, square in face of a nasty, old, toothless, drag queen called mark mom finley... Other than that I would agree with you...

If your gay and conservative, it’s not long until you figure out that it's a hell of a lot easier to be gay among conservatives than it is to be conservative among gays... Funny, that.

@ lots of people - I wasn't really including extreme political views in there; I'd never date a Nazi, and I wouldn't date a hardcore Marxist, either. I just wouldn't date ANYONE who was intensely devoted to ANY political ideology. Especially if that was mostly what they liked talking about. It would turn me off, and, frankly, creep me out a little.

Let's say I meet a guy who was politically right-of-center and, let's say, was particularly into Glenn Beck (who I truly do despise). If he was a good guy with a good heart (Yes, there ARE conservatives like this!), and didn't force me to watch Beck with him, and wasn't much into political debate with his SO, then, yeah, I could date a guy like that. LTR, even.

I guess that would be not sleeping with the enemy, huh?

That's like me, being a gay black southerner, supporting David Duke. If someone of that type were to support him, they'd be a fucking idiot. Of course, when I was 17, I actually got sucked off by this 22 y.o college student who had a signed photo of David Duke in his bedroom. I made him suck me off for what it was worth and he complained that I was taking too long, only to finish me off. What do you expect out of a horny 17 y.o (btw, AOC in SC is 17)? I wanted to savor it for what it was worth so I can tell the world this story 14 years later :)

This dude is claiming to be 33? AND, a combover, really? In this day and age, a combover? Seriously. Read the latest post on his Blog, and sounds more like he's the latest tired gay cliche, Chickenhawk. *yawn*

@17 - What on earth did I ever do to you? Besides, while I agree that tossin' a cocktail into the face of some well-deserved victim is enjoyable... why waste perfectly good alcohol?

The entire post sounds like bad fiction. Or bad queenly drama. There's bound to be a ten-page translation somewhere -- the "ballet dancer" in the post sounds like a self-involved twit (great LTR material, right?) but from drama-speak to fact-based English he would translate as a go-go dancer. Etc. In short, I don't believe more than 5% of it. I think that as so often happens when they're thwarted in the smallest way this artist of the hair spray has skewed the facts to try to make himself a victim when actually he's just a loud-mouthed conservative boor.

@25

What haven't you done? With stealing from various gay community organizations to being kicked out of an AIDS hospice after years of leeching from the charity of the gay community (and not even having AIDS), to attacking individuals in SGN and spreading lies to sabotage the relationships of people you have obsessive crushes on- you deserve to have more than just a drink thrown in your face!

Be gone before someone drops a house on you!
