Media Glenn Beckwatch: "You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you!"

Another day, another Glenn Beck controversy. This time, via Gawker, it's accompanied with a hilarious clip that suggests the Glenn Beck show has devolved into watching Glenn Beck watch TV. Let's watch the clip together, shall we?

Okay. He just compared Obama's America to "The damn Planet of the Apes." While I can't wait to watch people backpedal on Beck's behalf, I would also like to draw attention to the moment in the video where Beck points to the AFL-CIO sign behind Obama and blurts out "SPECIAL INTERESTS!" Because it is so very unpresidential for a president who is on the record as running against special interest groups to stand in front of a sign featuring a special interest group, right? Um. Right?

AFL-CIO is a special interest the way the T-101 from "T2: Judgement Day" is a Terminator. It is, but it helps protect humanity from other Terminators/special interests.

uhm ... uh ... yeah ... uhm ...

And so is planned parenthood I suppose, but I don't see either leaders in those special interests making windfall profits anytime soon.
