The Star of the Police Beat Movie Is Dead

Posted by on Wed, Aug 4, 2010 at 1:42 PM

I do not have the full details yet, but the lead actor of Police Beat, Pape Sidy Niang, apparently died in Thailand on July 5th.

Born in Senegal, Niang, who was in his early 20s during the filming of the movie (2003), not only delivered a solid performance and but also made real sacrifices that saved the tightly budgeted project. Pape was a real human being.
