The lunacy of the far right is just endlessly astounding to me (I know, I really shouldn't be surprised anymore). They just don't deal in facts, they deal in fantasy. They make some shit up, convince themselves it's real, and then get all upset in public over the perceived injustices in their make-believe 'reality'. Whole careers get built on this stinking shit, as great swaths of idiots fall in line behind them, drooling and screaming...

@18 Seriously? I know flesh can do some wonky things, but I've had piercings that never closed over after 15 years of disuse, it seems odd that an actual orifice could close over.

@19 I think piercings that are in less vascularized areas, like your earlobes, don't close over, but my daughter's nose ring hole closed up overnight...yeah, I thought it was pretty gross and unbelievable, and I wish I still had the link, but she started her post by saying, "you won't believe this, but I took my mom to the doctor, and this is what had happened..." the take home message, of course, being "use it or lose it."

Just when you think that people like her have been tossed into the trash bin of history, the right-wing conservatives trot them back out again. Look at Anita Bryant.
