Chow Curio Confections Re-Opens Tomorrow

I have good news for you U-District folks who miss soothing your sweet tooth at Curio Confections—the store is re-opening tomorrow. They'll officially celebrate with a grand re-opening party July 24th. Before it closed earlier this year, the shop had a five star rating in our reader reviews.

Stumbled upon this place as I was walking down the Ave, and found amazing confections within. The person behind the counter was making marshmallows in unheard of flavors, and offered tastes. She had the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted. Really. Go visit them.
The store will be in the same location, 5509 University Way NE. For more updates, follow their Twitter feed. And tomorrow, go stock up on some of their tasty homemade marshmallows for your next campfire.

The Twitter feed says the shop is changing owners. I'm scared that the new owner won't bake as well as the previous owner. Who's the new owner and do they have any chops?

They should probably reopen their website, too. I went to read more about these mysterious marshmallows, to no avail.
