The Lost poster is what made me, um, lose it, especially since I didn't see the cat in there at first.

It's always hilarious when people lose their pets. And it's incredibly funny to make fun of people who lose their pets. And Fnarf is so fucking brilliant, he "gets" humor that the rest of us don't (as he makes his millionth post of the day). It's all just so great.
And for the record, I don't for a minute think there is a missing cat named Missy. This fellow just has a lot of time on his hands. Next?

That's not a good example of dry humor, catsnbanjos.
The reason this guy is not a dick is because he is a professional designer, and when was the last time you saw a lost pet poster with excellent production values? Any semi-competent individual can create a lost pet poster on their computer, even if they didn't make it past the first chapter of Word for Dummies. And if she somehow lacks that ability, she's going to be making photocopies anyway; she can write it freehand and tape her Polaroid to it. This DIY project can be complete in five minutes, and will likely reunite you with your lost kitty in less time than it takes to fully realize that you're being mocked by the guy you tried to con into creating the poster to begin with.

The site-owner answered the real?/not real? question about Missy and said that the kitty had been found...in a neighbor's hedge...as she had been found the previous four times she'd run away.

@5, "smelt" is the prevalent spelling in the UK for the word whose prevalent spelling in the US is "smelled".
That said, I'd like to see a bottle of Smelt Milk, looking like regular milk until you see a smelt swim out of the milky haze and right up to the edge of the bottle.

I'm a graphic designer. This seems pretty fake to me. It basically follows a laundry list of the things graphic designers complain about: a "don't you hate it when..." and "wouldn't it be funny if..."
