Death / City At 7pm Today, the South Park Bridge for Close Forever

To commemorate the bridge's final day, a song. My first pick was Boogie Down Production's "The Bridge Is Over," but it wasn't right. Then I thought about this but it was too maudlin. So please enjoy Linda Clifford's disco remake of "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

The real shame is they're going to "close" it by leaving it fully open. Even lightweight pedestrians and cyclists won't be able to cross. Fuck that marina. I hope the opening mechanism breaks and it comes back down forever.
