It was a mob scene inside the The Lusty Lady at 2:00 a.m. this morning. I've never seen so many people jammed in there. Guys, girls, oldies, newbies—all kinds of people. When the change machine broke, I thought some might riot. I also overheard countless (too many) people say they'd never been before, and now wished they'd had.

It was a big, sweaty, crazy, melancholy mess. Sigh. Goodbye Lusty. I miss you already...
