Progressive radio talk-show host Ed Schultz hosts a town hall meeting, live broadcast, and book signing tonight. According to Schultz's site, the ticket price includes a copy of his new book "Killer Politics: How Big Money and Bad Politics Are Destroying the Great American Middle Class". Speaking of town hall meetings, the King County Ferry District is holding one to hear feedback about the West Seattle Water Taxi. King County Councilmember (and Ferry District Chair) Jan Drago will be on hand to answer your questions, but apparently won't be handing out any books. Sustainable Path: Our Food and Eating is the second part of the “Seeking Sustainable Systems” environmental lecture series. Britt Yamamoto of Antioch University and Mary Embleton of the Cascade Harvest Coalition will discuss food and "approaches to eating".
