You've Come a Long Way, Baby

Posted by on Wed, May 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM

Has this guy been on Slog yet:

Ardi will smoke only one brand and his habit costs his parents £3.78 a day in Musi Banyuasin, Indonesia.

Officials have offered to buy the family a car if he quits.

But fishmonger Mohammed, 30, said: "He looks pretty healthy to me. I don't see the problem."

Yup, looking good, kid.

WTF? Who gives their baby a cigarette? And "he looks pretty healthy"?! He can't run around with the other kids! How healthy is that?! *facepalm*

This sucks. And stinks. And blows. This is absolutely child abuse.

Yeah it's a shame, but all the chicks at preschool dig his cool (Kools?) "badboy" attitude.

All those clicking sounds in the background - are they coming from cameras? That could mean the parents are getting paid more for photos of this novelty act of child abuse than it costs to support his habit..

Man, I want to be offered a car for ceasing to let my child engage in an unusually dangerous habit.

There is absolutely nothing that I can do to stop this baby from smoking. So, I am just going to watch and laugh at the smoking baby. I love how he pretends to put the wrong end to his mouth, then flips it around the second someone hollers at him. Trickster baby.
