I'm putting together tomorrow's SIFF Picks of the Day, and I've run into a bit of a sticky situation. Which one of these baby turtle photos is cuter?
Is it this butthead?
- "My mom says I'm cool!"
Or this jerk over here?*
- "I pick Ken Griffey, Jr!"
Which? Which? WHICH!? Help me out here, people. Your country needs you.
Which one is cuter?
*Yes, I understand that these are likely the selfsame turtle baby in different poses. Please do not waste your valuable time letting me know.

I'm with @4--the first one is cuter because he looks like he's smiling. In the second photo he looks like a grump.

In photo #1, we can make believe the picture was snapped while the turtle was out doin' its thing, all care-free like in open waters. In #2, he's conjuring a curse for all those mocking his emasculating captivity. So, #2 if you hate turtles.

I'm loyal to the butthead. He appears happy to be going about his day. The jerk looks like he'd bite his thumb, if he had one to bite.

Butthead as I I love calling my nephews and niece a butthead. And they just laugh at that and call me a butthead.

OMG Cato and Fifty-Two-Eighty, my dad and grandpa LOVED turtle soup. I couldn't be at the same table with them when they ate it. If I ever smelled it again, I would know immediately what it was. Ugh.
And #1 for the win. He is too cool and way cuter. Ho hum, let me just flip my fin here and swim around and around. And I like the name butthead!

It's clearly the Butthead turtle.
The jerky little jerk in the second photo may be cute, but I can't tell because the framing, perspective and focus is off, and the crooked line of the water leads the eye right off the photo.
Also the little jerk fucker's foot is cut off, and is probably slowly leaking all his turtle blood into the water right off frame.
The Butthead wins through elimination.
