Even though I don't drive—BECAUSE CARS ARE EEEEEVIL*—I can mourn the loss the famed three block strip of "free parking behind the reservoir" at Cal Anderson Park. It's been free for forever. But this morning the pay stations are going up (and rightly so, because the city needs the dough). The guy there in the picture says that the meters will turn on this afternoon, but nobody has to pay till tomorrow.
