O They Will Know We Are Christians...

Posted by on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 7:30 AM

...by the corpses stuffed in our freezers.

Preacher Anthony Hopkins' stepdaughter has said she was sexually abused by Hopkins starting when she was 11, but Hopkins testified today that they did not have their first sexual encounter until March 2008. It was then, Hopkins testified in his rape and murder case, that his eldest stepdaughter, who was 19 at the time, approached him in the living room wearing a "chocolate negligee."

"From that point, I was tempted and I yielded to the temptation," Hopkins testified. "As a result, she got pregnant."

Hopkins is accused of murdering his wife and storing her body in a freezer for 4 years, even hooking up a generator to make sure the freezer never lost power in a hurricane or other storm.... Prosecutors say he killed 36-year-old Arletha Hopkins in December 2004 after she learned that her husband had sexually abused the stepdaughter.

I'm sure it wasn't the Anthony Hopkins.

@2 Because people he played, never stored body parts in jars and created sexual innuendo between himself and a student.

His daughter was asking for it when she walked into the living room in that negligee. This is just a media conspiracy to make Christians look bad.

I mean, what man wouldn't give into the temptation of having sex with his teenage stepdaughter? And when his wife learned about it, she probably started talking back and had to be dealt with. Completely understandable, right? I'm sure the Pope will back me up on this one.

Christian logic: If it's not the fault of the gays, then it's the women! But it's certainly not the fault of the Christian. Never!

"Chocolate" negligee? What a bizarre way to describe that in court; feels more like it came out of his "I fucked my stepdaughter" novel in progress. Extra creepy.

"Hopkins jumped up and down on the body to make it fit in the freezer."

Well, isn't this what any good preacher would do?

Thee guy kind of looks like Kidd or Play. The one with the erasure fade.

By the way, what's the difference between a preachers wife and a '57 Chevy?

He didn't have a '57 Chevy in his freezer. HA!

Whoops, not a traditional family. Traditional families don't have step children because divorce is not allowed. This is the result of non-traditional "parenting."

It's not the most disturbing part of this story by a long shot, but for some reason the current focus of my horror is on the writer of the piece's "snugly"/"snuggly" confusion, and how this mischaracterization of the wife's body makes it all seem even more grotesque.

Sepiollida... I have to say that your avatar scares me.

Now that's out of the way... how do you hide a body in a freezer for four years? Want's the point? And wouldn't you be afraid someone would find it?

Hopkins is a Preacher.
Obviously, a Christian Preacher.
He has done a bad thing.
Obviously, all Christians are bad.
Obviously.

It gets awfully hot in Mobile, good thing he bought the generator for power outages. Folks would figure out something mighty quick if he lost power after a hurricane. Also, does one have to store chocolate underwear in a freezer to keep it from melting in the hot Alabama sun? Or was mom hogging all the freezer space?

I know, personally speaking, nothing is more irresistible than someone (anyone) in a "chocolate negligee"...

Under such enticing circumstances, who wouldn’t be driven to incest, murder and macabre acts of refrigeration I ask you?

He probably just keeps her in the freezer for emergencies. You know, like if his teen-age stepdaughter ever leaves him.

I'm guessing his "chocolate negligee" was probably closer to what sane people would call "brown pajamas."
